TRAINING STARTS THIS WEEK - HOW TO PREPARE AND WHAT TO DO IF WE ARE INDOORS ⚽️✅
We are back officially this week - very exciting times for our club!⚽️
The good news is that our actual training session content does not have to change as The FA have lifted restrictions which means that all of the usual fun will be had each week, including our weekly football matches! However, as there are still social distancing guidelines in play across every industry, there are some rules we have to make you aware of: ADULTS AT TRAINING
When the weather and light allows training will take place outdoors at Thomas More and parents are asked to spread out and social distance on pitch side
However when we have to move indoors (we expect our 7-8pm sessions to be indoors from this week due to the light fading), parents are not permitted to stay to watch in the sports hall.
Please drop off your child and wait in the car. If you use public transport to get to training, you are permitted to wait in the changing rooms at Thomas More, as long as you wear a face mask.
If your child is a u11, parents are allowed to stay to watch in the sports hall as the squad trains on their own with much smaller numbers. You must however wear a face mask at all times when indoors. The same rule applies to any team that does not share the sports hall with any other age group e.g. if one group is off that week
ADULTS AT MATCH DAYS
On match days, you will be asked to social distance on pitch side and stay behind the respect barrier / coned line. Please use your common sense with this.
Please ensure your child has their own water bottle with their name on
Also ensure that they have their own hand sanitizer
Please ensure they wash their hands and use hand sanitizer prior to starting their training session and match days.
OUR EQUIPMENT AND HYGIENE STANDARDS
Your manager has been provided with their own training equipment.
All footballs will be wiped down and cleaned between each training session and at the end of match days
Bibs will not be shared with any other groups or with different children throughout the session. They will also be washed after each use.
No Hi 5s or group celebrations are permitted but we will do virtual Hi 5s and virtual celebrations with each other 😃
In a nutshell that is it! ✅We ask for your full support and cooperation on the above whilst we transition through this phase of restarting our club to ensure it is as clean and safe as possible ☺️💙 Look forward to seeing you! Ash, G, and Your Manager @ SZ United FC ⚽️
