3v3 tournament night

Is the football season over yet we hear you say?! Almost!

We appreciate it has been a long season for many parents and guardians, with fees to be paid, admin to complete and not to mention the travelling for training and games.

We have one final week of training left before you, the kids and our coaches get a few weeks off to enjoy the summer. We intend to finish on a high with an inter age-group 3v3 tournament night. This last session is all about mixing the teams up, getting the players competing with others, scoring loads of goals and having as much fun as possible.

Players will play short 3-minute games with and against their team mates and others from the age group(s) closest to theirs. Pitches will be small to maximise touches (and goals!) with a mixture of pitch types and layouts to engage and challenge throughout.

We want the night to be all about the players. We encourage you to come along and support, but we won't be keeping track of scores or coaching tactics from the sidelines. Please play your part to make the evening as fun as possible for everyone involved.

To help the session run smoothly, please ensure you arrive on time for the start of your age group sessions. This will allow managers to organise the teams ready for kick-off at 18:10 & 19:10 respectively.

WHEN DOES TRAINING START BACK AFTER THE SUMMER BREAK?

We start back the first week in September, with technical nights on Monday 1st & Tuesday 2nd at Monks Hill. The manager led session begin on Wednesday 3rd and Thursday 4th at Royal Russell.

The league season is currently scheduled to start on Saturday 6th September.
